The World's Ten Best Ethical Destinations 2017

Cabo Verde has again been chosen one of the world’s “Ten Best Ethical Destinations” by Ethical Traveler! This is the 5th time (since 2013) that Cabo Verde is receiving this recognition, and it is a real tribute to the progress it has made and its commitment to continued positive change.

Each year, Ethical Traveler conducts a study of all developing nations to create a list of the world's most inviting, progressive destinations. They  focus on policies and practices that support human rights, environmental protection and social welfare, and use many sources in their research, from Amnesty International to UNICEF.

Ethical Traveler is a global alliance of people who love to travel, and share a sense of responsibility toward the planet. They leverage the economic clout of tourism to protect the planet in many ways, including educating travelers about their impacts on the world, and inspiring them to “vote with their wings.”
